NATURE HEALS ALL

After returning to Ireland, spending more time outside in the hills of Donegal, and making new connections, I was reminded how rediscovering my inner peace, and learning to find a new pace in life, I will begin to find build my own stability. Nature heals, in its own time, as long as we allow the process to begin.

Do you ever find that texture speaks to you? It's one of those senses that gets the rest of the body's sense flowing. It can take you back to a certain moment of comfort, happiness, excitement, fear, anxiety, depression, realisation, and more. Texture is something I like to work with a lot in my mix media painting, as it allows me to work through certain emotions, symbolising what speaks to me and leaps off the canvas.

For me, the textures of walking through nature amplify the healing process within me. This piece was an amalgamation of nature's textures and the healing process of producing the artwork.
